The Position

  • Provide vital services to the community with a supportive practice team, including local 2 GPs, 3 registrars, 3 nurses and 2 medical students – covering all aspects of General Practice

  • Provide shared on-call services at the local Emergency Health Service, twice a week (or more if desired)

  • Work in a modern 7-room private GP practice with set daily rates (not working from percentage billings)

GP ED Locum $3000 per day - Great Western Plains of NSW

Join us for an exceptional opportunity in Wellington, where we're offering highly competitive rates and a variety of dates throughout the year. With $3k per day and a dynamic role covering a busy ED and 12 ward beds, this position promises to be both rewarding and fulfilling.

The Position

As a GP VMO, you'll manage a busy Emergency Department and oversee 12 ward beds. Your duties will include onsite coverage from 08:00 to 22:00, with on-call availability overnight as needed for triage 1's, 2's, and select 3's. You'll collaborate closely with the hospital team and promptly sign off on outstanding pathology results. Comfortable offsite accommodation and a vehicle for work travel will be provided.
