Mornington Island is situated 28 km off the Queensland coast. REX Airlines operates flights five days a week from Cairns and Mt Isa, making travel convenient and accessible.
The Position

This locum role enables you to apply your expertise where it’s needed most, ensuring that remote communities receive the high-quality care they deserve.
Full-time locum GP role in an Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS).
Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, with no weekends or after-hours work.
Deliver culturally appropriate healthcare alongside a collaborative team.
Perfect for GPs with AMS experience or those eager to contribute to Indigenous health.

What We Require From You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Specialist AHPRA Registration.
Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP).
Experience with Communicare software (training available if required).
A commitment to improving Indigenous health outcomes.
Prior experience in AMS settings is highly regarded, but this opportunity is also ideal for new Fellows passionate about making a difference.
