The Position
Role: Emergency Department Senior Medical Officer (ED SMO)
Location: Karratha Health Campus, Karratha, WA
As part of a skilled team, you’ll provide essential emergency care in a busy department averaging 60–80 presentations daily. With a modern setup and a welcoming community, this is your opportunity to make a tangible difference in regional healthcare.
ED Facilities: 16 beds, 4 short-stay beds.

Wed 27-Nov to Mon 02-Dec: Nights
Fri 06-Dec to Wed 11-Dec: Nights
Thur 12-Dec to Thur 19-Dec: Mixed shifts
Mon 16-Dec to Tues 24-Dec: Mixed shifts (+15% festive loading 20/12–05/01)

$2,300/day for SMOs

What We Require From You
✓ Experience: ED SMO, PGY7+ with at least 3 years of emergency experience in Australia.
✓ Certifications: ALS2 certification.
✓ Availability: Commit to at least some of the specified shifts.
