Location Snapshot – The Kimberley
The Kimberley is one of Australia’s most remote and clinically rewarding regions to work in.
Doctors working here experience:
A broad and often high-acuity case mix
Close collaboration with nursing and remote health teams
Exposure to presentations not commonly seen in metro EDs
The opportunity to support Aboriginal communities across the region
For many ED doctors, Kimberley placements offer some of the most hands-on and professionally rewarding experiences in emergency medicine.
