Why We Exist
Our story began in 2009 when our founder, James Hill, witnessed firsthand the stark disparities in healthcare while visiting remote Indigenous communities through a trip organised by the Fred Hollows Foundation.
That experience sparked a powerful question:
“What can we do to make sure everyone in Australia, no matter where they live, gets equal access to healthcare?”
From that moment, Prescript was created not just as a recruitment company but as a mission-led partner dedicated to solving healthcare challenges. Today, that vision drives everything we do, from supporting regional communities across Australia to contributing to global health initiatives that create lasting impact.
