The Position
Role: ED SMO (Locum)
Location: Cobar District Hospital, NSW
Rate: Up to $2,000 per day
Hospital Beds: ~10 acute and sub-acute
Presentations: ~3,000 per year
Roster: 24-hour shifts (08:00 – 08:00)
Your Responsibilities
Attend all triage categories (1–5) in person between 08:00 and 20:00
Overnight (20:00 – 08:00): attend in person for triage 1–3; on-call for 4–5 at your discretion
Work autonomously while supported by skilled nurses and district services
