As an ED Registrar or Senior Medical Officer, you’ll conduct health assessments and manage ongoing medical care for a diverse patient group.

Rate: $150 per hour
Shift Hours: Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | Sat 9am–5pm | Sun 8am–4pm

About the Service

Every person entering custody is entitled to health care equivalent to that available in the wider community. This role is part of that vital commitment. As the first clinical contact for new arrivals, you’ll perform joint health assessments with Registered Nurses, identify immediate and ongoing medical needs, and help establish personalised care plans — all within the first 24 hours of entry.

The environment is structured, professional, and purpose-led. You’ll be supported by an experienced, multidisciplinary team that values compassion, consistency, and high-quality patient care.

What We’re Looking For

  • PGY4+ with solid Emergency Medicine experience

  • ALS2 certification
