Manning Base Hospital in Taree, NSW, is seeking experienced ED Registrars to join its emergency team for ongoing locum shifts. With rates of up to $200 per hour, flexible roster options, and full Prescript logistics support, this is a great opportunity to combine clinical challenge with lifestyle flexibility.

The Position

  • Role: Emergency Department Registrar

  • Location: Manning Base Hospital, Taree NSW

  • Rates: $180–$200 per hour (ABN)

  • Shifts: 10-hour blocks (0800–1830, 1000–2000, 1300–2300, 2000–0600, 2230–0830)

  • Team: 2 x Senior in Charge, 1 x SRMO, 1 x RMO, 1 x Intern

  • Department Setup: 10 acute beds + 2 Resus + 1 Procedure + 3 Consult + 1 Isolation

  • Environment: High-volume regional ED, offering broad clinical exposure with strong specialist support.

Shifts available in July through to 25 August 2025, including blocks such as:

  • 25–28 July

  • 1–4 August

  • 4–8 August

  • 15–18 August

  • 22–25 August

Requirements

  • PGY4+ with recent Emergency Medicine experience

  • ALS2 certification

  • Availability for at least one of the available shifts
