We’re seeking an experienced Director of Medical Services (FRACMA qualified) to provide senior leadership and oversight for one of regional Australia’s most respected hospitals. Based in Broken Hill, this locum appointment offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to a health service that supports communities across far-west NSW.
As DMS, you’ll guide governance frameworks, ensure clinical standards are upheld, and support operational managers in delivering safe, high-quality care. Your leadership will directly influence continuity of service and patient outcomes during this key period.

The Opportunity
In this senior leadership position, you’ll:
Provide strategic medical direction and leadership to multidisciplinary hospital teams
Oversee governance, credentialing, and clinical safety systems
Collaborate with executive leaders to drive performance and improvement initiatives

Key Details
Rate: $2,500 per day (half-days pro-rated)
Dates: 12 pm Friday 19 December 2025 – 5 pm Wednesday 11 February 2026
Roster: Monday to Friday only (no weekends or public holidays unless advised)
Requirements: FRACMA qualification essential
