Step into a senior medical leadership role in Launceston
Prescript Recruitment is seeking an experienced Deputy Executive Director Medical Services for an urgent locum placement at Launceston General Hospital.
This is a short-term executive opportunity for a DMS, Deputy DMS or senior medical administrator who can provide experienced leadership and support within a major regional teaching hospital.
You will work alongside the Executive Director Medical Services and broader executive team, helping maintain strong medical leadership, governance and continuity across the service.
Locum details
Dates: 21 September – 1 November 2026
Rate: $2,500 per day
On call: $140 allowance
Roster: Day work plus 1:2 on call, shared with the EDMS
Call-back: $250 per hour for each hour worked while on call, up to a maximum of $2,500 per day
