Charleville Hospital is a key facility in South West Queensland, supporting emergency, acute, maternity, surgical and allied health services, as well as telehealth and mental health programs. It’s the backbone of healthcare for a vast rural catchment and offers a supportive environment for senior medical leaders.
Role Options
We’re seeking a Director of Medical Services for a full-time locum appointment, with two scope options:
Medical Administration Only – for FRACMA or equivalent fellows focused purely on governance and strategic leadership.
Hybrid DMS + Clinical Role – combining medical administration with hands-on clinical work across ED, inpatient wards and the local GP clinic (for candidates with suitable clinical credentials).

Dates: ASAP – 30 September 2025 (with potential extension)
Rate: Negotiable based on scope and experience

Who Should Apply
FRACMA (or equivalent)
