You’ll also supervise and support Trainee Medical Officers, medical students, and Nurse Practitioner candidates, making a significant impact on the team and the community.

Port Augusta is about three and a half hours from Adelaide by road.

The Position

We are seeking a Locum GP Rural Generalist or FACEM for the Leeton Emergency Department. The facility includes a 72-bed hospital with 24-hour Accident and Emergency services.

Leeton, located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia, is a charming town known for its agricultural production and Art Deco architecture. Approximately 450 kilometres west of Sydney, Leeton offers a mix of cultural, historical, and natural attractions, making it an engaging destination for visitors.

How to Get There:

  • By Car: Approximately 5-6 hours drive from Sydney via the Hume and Sturt Highways.

  • By Plane and Bus: Fly to Griffith Airport, then bus or taxi to Leeton, total around 2 hours.
