The Position
We’re seeking ED SMOs and Rural Generalists to lead Emergency Department shifts at Port Augusta Hospital. As a senior doctor, you’ll manage the ED, ensuring that all critical cases (Triage Category 1 and 2) receive immediate attention. You’ll also supervise and support Trainee Medical Officers, medical students, and Nurse Practitioner candidates, making a significant impact on the team and the community.
Port Augusta is about three and a half hours from Adelaide by road.

Benefits Provided
Rates:
Weekdays: $2200 per day
Weekends: $2400 per day
Public Holidays: $2600 per day
Inclusions: Travel, car, and accommodation are covered.
What We Require From You
✓ ALS certification required. Suitable for ACEM Diploma holders, FRACGP with ED skills, FACRRM, or ED SMOs.
✓ Significant experience in Emergency Medicine.
✓ Flexibility to work across the specified dates.
