Locum GP Rural Generalist or FACEM - $3000 per day - Riverina Region of NSW

The Position

We are seeking a Locum GP Rural Generalist or FACEM for the Leeton Emergency Department. The facility includes a 72-bed hospital with 24-hour Accident and Emergency services.

Leeton, located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia, is a charming town known for its agricultural production and Art Deco architecture. Approximately 450 kilometres west of Sydney, Leeton offers a mix of cultural, historical, and natural attractions, making it an engaging destination for visitors.

How to Get There:

• By Car: Approximately 5-6 hours drive from Sydney via the Hume and Sturt Highways.

• By Plane and Bus: Fly to Griffith Airport, then bus or taxi to Leeton, total around 2 hours.

• 5 ED beds

• 25 acute beds

• 4 maternity beds

• 38 residential aged care beds

• Supported by Senior CNS, Emergency trained RN, FLECC nursing, Critical Care Advisory Service, and Remote Medical Consultation service.

What We Require From You

✓ Fellowed GP or FACEM

✓ Recent Regional ED experience

✓ Familiarity with eMR

✓ ALS2 certification within the last 3 years

✓ Desirable: previous experience in the NSWH system
