The Role
As a Locum Rural Generalist (GPO/ED), you’ll work within a modern, 30-bed regional hospital that services 15 remote communities. Your scope will be broad and impactful, including:
Emergency and general ward coverage (rotating day and night shifts)
Around 15 ED presentations per day
Obstetric and maternity care (Diploma of Rural Obstetrics or equivalent required)
Retrieval coordination with CareFlight to Royal Darwin Hospital
You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including RMOs, registrars, allied health professionals, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners — all working together to deliver quality care where it matters most.
