Working in a senior Emergency Medical Coordinator capacity at Katherine Hospital, you will provide clinical leadership, manage acute and critically unwell patients, and support the wider emergency department team.

The position requires an experienced clinician who is confident making independent clinical decisions, managing complex emergency presentations and supervising other medical practitioners.

Overnight on-call responsibilities form part of this placement.

Why Katherine?

Katherine offers the opportunity to practise meaningful emergency medicine in a regional setting where your experience can make a real difference.

As an important healthcare centre for Katherine and surrounding remote communities, the hospital provides exposure to a broad range of presentations and the challenges of delivering emergency care outside a metropolitan environment.

For experienced Rural Generalists and FACEMs, this is a rewarding opportunity to contribute specialist clinical skills while supporting access to emergency healthcare in regional Australia.
