Step into a role where your presence does more than fill a gap - it shapes the future of rural healthcare. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) of Western Australia is opening its first-ever permanent GP clinic in Kalgoorlie, and you could be part of this milestone.
This is your chance to be there at the beginning, helping shape a new model of primary care in regional WA - supported by one of Australia’s most respected healthcare organisations and partnered with Curtin University’s Goldfields Department of Rural Health.
Whether you want to relocate to Kalgoorlie (with a full relocation package including housing, vehicle, and utilities) or fly in and fly out in 3–4 week blocks (with all travel covered), this role offers flexibility, purpose, and incredible community impact.
Why This Role Stands Out
Work with purpose: Serve a regional community that will genuinely benefit from consistent, quality GP care.
Modern, well-supported clinic: Full-time nursing, reception, and allied health support.
Shape the future: Join a clinic that will grow from 1.5 FTE to a 7-GP team.
Flexible FIFO options: Max 3–4 week rotations to preserve work-life balance.
Professional growth: Be part of medical student education and broader rural health development.
