GP AMS Locum – Deliver Culturally Grounded Care in Far West NSW

This is your opportunity to join a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that’s been delivering culturally grounded, high-impact primary care in Far West NSW for more than two decades. You’ll work within a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities — where your time, energy, and expertise are deeply valued.

Whether you’re experienced in Aboriginal Medical Services or stepping into Aboriginal health for the first time, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

The Roles Available

Main Clinic – General Practice
Comprehensive, community-led primary care focused on prevention and continuity.

  • Monday to Friday only (08:30 – 17:00) — no weekends, after-hours, or on-call.

  • $1,600 – $1,800 per day + GST.

Dates Available:

  • 24 November – 5 December 2025 – $1,800/day (rate increase for November block)

  • 5 – 16 January 2026 – $1,600/day

  • 19 – 30 January 2026 (includes Australia Day public holiday) – $1,600/day

  • 2 – 13 February 2026 – $1,600/day

All blocks are available in two-week placements (minimum commitment required).

Benefits Provided

Requirements

  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • A culturally sensitive, collaborative approach to care

  • For paediatric placements: Child Health qualifications and experience
