GP AMS Locum – Deliver Culturally Grounded Care in Broken Hill

The Roles Available

Main Clinic – General Practice

  • Comprehensive, community-led primary care with a focus on prevention and continuity.

  • Monday to Friday only (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) – no weekends, after-hours or on-call.

  • $1,600/day + GST.

  • Dates: 1 September 2025 – 27 February 2026 (minimum two-week blocks).

Healthy Start Clinic – Paediatric Focus

  • Dedicated paediatric service supporting Aboriginal children and families.

  • Monday to Friday only (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).

  • $1,750/day + GST.

  • Dates: 15 – 26 September 2025 (Child Health qualifications and experience required).

Both roles operate within well-equipped, modern facilities and use Medical Director clinical software. You’ll work alongside a supportive team including nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff, all within a warm, culturally inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • For paediatric placements: Child Health qualifications and demonstrable experience

  • A culturally sensitive, collaborative approach to care
