The Position

These locum positions are suitable for Tier A or Tier B radiologists, reporting 80 to 100 cases daily with a mixed caseload. You'll receive a daily rate of $3,500 or more, depending on the location, along with return economy flights, self-contained accommodation, and car hire.

These practices offer a range of services, ensuring a tailored locum experience based on your skills.

Locum GP Opportunities at Risdon Prison Complex, Hobart: Support Health in Tasmania

Explore an impactful role in Hobart, leveraging your GP and offender health expertise to support the vulnerable at Risdon Prison Complex. This position prioritizes mental health, offering a meaningful contribution to correctional health.

The Position

Join a collaborative team of 4 doctors and up to 40 nurses addressing a spectrum of mental health, drug, and alcohol cases at Risdon Prison Complex. As a GP, you'll be integral to the multidisciplinary health team, providing direct clinical services within the correctional health setting. Responsibilities include Primary Health GP duties and prescribing medications, including S8s (opioid medication).

About Risdon Prison Complex:

Risdon Prison Complex, near Hobart, is a medium to maximum security facility for males. Managed by the Tasmanian Prison Service, it houses 219 maximum security cells, 84 medium security cells, and a secure mental health unit, the Wilfred Lopes Centre. The adjacent Mary Hutchinson Women's Prison accommodates 45 beds.

The Position

As a Locum ICU Registrar, you will contribute to patient care in a dynamic ICU environment. This is for a three-month term, and although it is a locum position, the hospital welcomes applicants dedicated to the entire duration, with the potential for an ongoing placement.
