Prescript Recruitment is seeking a GP with experience or an interest in Occupational Medicine for a locum position at a coal mine clinic in Mt Isa, QLD. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique environment, providing essential healthcare services to mine workers and ensuring their safety and well-being in the workplace.

The Position

Role: Locum GP – Occupational Health
Location: Mt Isa, QLD (Coal Mine Site Clinic)
Start Date: 6th January 2025
End Date: 31st March 2025

Working Hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8am - 5pm

  • Tuesday, Thursday: 10am - 7pm

  • Saturday: 8am - 11am

Dates Available

  • January 2025

  • February 2025

  • March 2025

A minimum commitment of 2 weeks is required, with the option to work during any or all of these months.

Pay: $250 + GST per hour or 70% + GST of billings

What We Require From You

✓ GP with Occupational Health experience (e.g., Mineral Mines and Quarries respiratory health surveillance, Injury Management, Coal or Rail)

✓ AHPRA Specialist Registration
