You’ll be providing vital healthcare to a thriving mining town and neighbouring Indigenous communities – delivering high-quality primary care in a modern clinic environment backed by experienced nurses and administration staff. The Position
This role is ideal for experienced GPs who are confident delivering care in remote settings. You’ll manage a mix of general practice, preventative health and occasional occupational medicine. Nurses act as first responders for after-hours, keeping your additional workload manageable and well-supported.
Clinic Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Late clinics: Tuesdays & Thursdays until 7:30 PM
Weekends & Public Holidays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (afternoon for admin/results)
After-Hours: Approx. 15 hours per week, shared with RNs.

Requirements
Specialist Registration with AHPRA
Fellowship (FRACGP or FACRRM)
Minimum 5 years GP experience
Current BLS or ALS certification
Confidence working in remote health settings
