The Opportunity
Prescript Recruitment is seeking an experienced Locum GP to join Paraburdoo Medical Centre for a short, high-quality placement in the Pilbara.
You’ll step into a well-run, efficient practice serving a close-knit mining community, with strong systems, excellent administrative support, and close integration with local hospital services. This is rural general practice delivered in a structured, sustainable way.

The Role
You will be the solo GP at the medical centre, working independently while being exceptionally well supported.
Full-time, experienced administration team on site
Nursing support one day per week
Protected admin time built into every day
Best Practice clinical software
Strong hospital support and referral pathways
Clinic hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
One-hour lunch break
Last patients booked at 4:30pm to allow time for results and paperwork
No weekends, after-hours, on-call or emergency work
Optional Saturday morning clinic at Tom Price Medical Centre
Scope of Practice
You will provide comprehensive GP care, including:
Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions
Men’s and women’s health checks
Travel medicine and immunisations
Occupational medicine, injury management and workers compensation
Mental health care plans
Culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
Review and action of incoming results and correspondence
Uploading My Health Record and eHealth summaries
This role suits a GP who is confident working independently and values good systems, structure and clinical autonomy.

$1,800 per day minimum guarantee or 70% of billings (whichever is higher)
