You’ll work in a modern, team-based environment alongside experienced nursing staff, with clear escalation pathways to hospital services when needed. The clinic is set up for safe, efficient urgent care, with on-site pathology, pharmacy and radiology.
The Position
Role: GP – Urgent Care (Medicare Urgent Care Clinic)
Hours: Weekdays 8am–8pm | Weekends & Public Holidays 10am–6pm
Walk-in urgent care for acute issues that can’t wait for a routine GP appointment, but don’t require ED-level management
Urgent care is bulk billed for valid Medicare card holders
Typical presentations
You’ll manage a broad range of urgent but non-life-threatening presentations, including:
Minor infections
Minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries, and neck/back pain
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Minor cuts and wounds
Minor eye and ear conditions
Respiratory illnesses
Gastroenteritis
Mild burns
