Join the hospital team in Geelong as an Emergency Department Hospital Medical Officer (ED HMO). They are offering an engaging and impactful 13-week full-term locum position, starting in August 2024.

The Position

Role: Emergency Department HMO (Full Term)
Location: Geelong, VIC
Shifts: 4 per week, rotating AM, PM, and Night Shifts
Start Date: Monday, 5th August
Rate: $110/hour for day shifts, $130/hour for night shifts (inclusive of super)

ED RMO - Sunshine Coast QLD - June to September 2024 Dates

Prescript Recruitment, on behalf of a Queensland health service, seeks a dedicated Emergency Department RMO/SHO to join their team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This role is available from 24th June 2024 to 1st September 2024.

The Sunshine Coast offers a perfect blend of work and leisure with its stunning beaches, vibrant community, and easy access to Brisbane.

The Position

As an ED RMO / SHO, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective patient management, and supporting the ED team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.

  • Provide initial treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.

  • Stabilise patients and coordinate care with specialists as needed.

Dates Available

Position Duration: 24 June 2024 – 1 September 2024

Shifts: 7-day/week 24-hour roster, including day, evening, and night shifts

Length of contract: 12 month fixed-term contract

What we're looking for: 

For a Registrar position - You will have 6-12 months of critical care experience either within Emergency, Anaesthetics, Medicine or Intensive Care.

You must also be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia via the Competent Authority pathway (United Kingdom, Canada, United States, New Zealand and Ireland).
