Choose how you want to work — onsite locum weeks across Noosa, Nambour and Gympie, or remote teleradiology opportunities with the same private radiology group.
$4,000 per day for onsite locum work
Choose weeks across Noosa, Nambour & Gympie
Prefer remote work? Teleradiology opportunities also available
For radiologists looking for flexibility, this opportunity offers two distinct ways to work: spend time onsite in one of Queensland’s most desirable locum regions, or explore regular remote reporting through teleradiology.
Onsite Locum Radiology
The location is a major drawcard.
With opportunities across Noosa, Nambour and Gympie, you can combine well-paid locum work with time on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding hinterland.
Whether you prefer Noosa’s beaches and restaurants, the convenience of Nambour, or easy access to the hinterland and wider Gympie region, there are multiple locations and weeks to choose from.
The Locum
$4,000 per day
8:30 am–5:00 pm
Private practice only
No hospital-based work
Locations across Noosa, Nambour and Gympie
Multiple weeks available through to New Year 2027
$600 per day travel and accommodation allowance for eligible radiologists
Rather than committing to one fixed block, you can speak with Prescript about the weeks and location that best suit your availability.
Prefer to Work Remotely?
The same private radiology group also has separate teleradiology opportunities available.
This may suit radiologists looking to add regular remote reporting around existing commitments.
Teleradiology
Remote reporting opportunities
20% of billings, negotiable
Ongoing requirements available
Regular reporting arrangements can be discussed around your availability
You can express interest in onsite locum work, teleradiology, or either option depending on what suits you.
The Practice
The work covers a broad private-practice case mix, including:
MRI
CT
Nuclear Imaging
Breast Imaging
Ultrasound
Fluoroscopy
BMD
Dental imaging
X-ray
PET
Interventional procedures are desirable but not essential.
Reporting expectations are approximately 60–80 reports per day, with a standard four-hour turnaround and urgent reports prioritised as required.
Why Work With Prescript?
Radiology is one of Prescript’s specialties, and we work closely with radiologists to understand what actually makes a locum or remote reporting arrangement worthwhile.
That means looking beyond the vacancy itself - considering location, dates, workload, remuneration and how the opportunity fits with the rest of your work and life.
With multiple onsite weeks and separate teleradiology requirements available, we can help you explore the option that is the right fit for you.

Tell us whether you are interested in onsite locum work or teleradiology, along with your preferred dates or availability.
