Prescript is recruiting a Consultant Radiologist for a major hospital-based imaging service in south-east Melbourne, with multiple dates available across October and December 2026.
You can take a full Monday–Friday week or individual days, making this particularly attractive for Melbourne-based Radiologists wanting to add occasional locum days around an existing roster, or interstate Radiologists looking for a short, well-supported block.
The hospital serves one of Melbourne's fastest-growing communities and provides a broad range of acute, surgical and specialist services. The imaging environment includes a strong mix of diagnostic and interventional work.
The Role
This is a General Diagnostic + Tier A procedural Radiology locum position.
You will be working across:
X-ray
Ultrasound
CT
MRI
Tier A / interventional procedures
The main procedures required are:
PICC lines
Drainages
Organ biopsies
The site offers a good opportunity for a Radiologist who enjoys maintaining a broad diagnostic workload while continuing hands-on procedural work.

The role is based approximately 40 km south-east of Melbourne CBD, within one of the city's major growth corridors.
For interstate Radiologists, it provides the convenience of a metropolitan locum without needing to spend a long block away from home. For Victorian Radiologists, the ability to work individual days creates an easy way to explore locum work alongside an existing permanent, private or teleradiology commitment.
