Locum General Radiologist | Hobart, Tasmania | $4,000 Per Day

$4,000 per day

Choose from nine flexible week blocks

No trauma or inpatient reporting

Looking for a well-structured Hobart locum with flexibility around your availability? This General Radiologist locum in Hobart offers $4,000 per day, a predominantly clinic-based workload and nine separate week blocks across August, September and October 2026.

You can choose a single week, several blocks or a longer run depending on what suits your schedule.

The Position

This is a broad General Radiology role with a balanced modality mix and some outpatient hospital work.

There is no trauma or inpatient reporting, making this a particularly appealing option for radiologists who prefer a more controlled clinic-based workload.

Expected modality mix:

  • MRI approximately 15%

  • CT approximately 30%

  • Ultrasound approximately 30%

  • X-ray approximately 25%

Procedures

You will need to be confident performing MSK ultrasound-guided injections.

Experience with the following would also be useful, although it is not essential:

  • FNA

  • CT-guided facet injections

Procedure bookings are generally limited to 6 to 8 per day, helping preserve dedicated reporting time.

Dates Available

August 2026

  • 24 to 28 August

  • 31 August to 4 September

September 2026

  • 7 to 11 September

  • 14 to 18 September

  • 21 to 25 September

  • 28 September to 2 October

October 2026

  • 5 to 9 October

  • 12 to 16 October

  • 19 to 23 October

You do not need to commit to all nine weeks. We can consider availability for one week, several blocks or a longer placement.
