This is more than a locum—it’s a chance to be part of something deeply significant. You’ll be joining a new medical practice that opened its doors in April 2024, restoring much-needed access to primary health care in a regional NSW community.
The practice operates in partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), one of Australia’s most respected and iconic healthcare organisations. While best known for aeromedical retrievals, RFDS also delivers high-quality primary care services across rural and remote Australia. Their clinics play a vital role in supporting communities that often include a high proportion of Aboriginal people, providing culturally safe, patient-centred care alongside broader rural health services.
You’ll be welcomed into a GP-led, multi-disciplinary team, supported by a practice manager, nursing staff, allied health, and administration. The model of care encourages longer consults—such as 30-minute appointments for chronic disease management, care plans, and health assessments—so you can provide continuity of care and genuinely connect with your patients.
The Position
We’re seeking General Practitioners (FRACGP or FACRRM) who are passionate about making a difference in rural and Indigenous health. You’ll deliver a broad mix of primary care, early intervention, chronic disease management, and preventative health in a modern, well-resourced clinic.
