The Position
Role: FACEM
Location: Northam Hospital, Western Australia
Rates: $2,700 – $2,900/day
Shifts: A mix of days, evenings, and nights (0800–1800, 1000–2030, 1300–2300, and 2000–0830)
Emergency Department Overview
Northam Health Service’s Emergency Department has recently been upgraded and expanded, delivering streamlined clinical operations and enhanced patient flow. With around 14,000 annual presentations, the ED includes:
7 treatment areas
2 resuscitation bays
1 isolation room
3 treatment chairs
The hospital also serves as a regional hub, integrating services such as day surgery, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, physiotherapy, and mental health—all on one campus. With dedicated FACEM leadership, well-established governance, and a strong local support team, this is a facility designed for safe, high-quality emergency care delivery.
