We’re supporting Tasmanian Health Service at Launceston General Hospital with multiple FACEM locum blocks across March and April 2026.

LGH is Northern Tasmania’s tertiary regional referral centre - a busy, well-resourced Emergency Department with multiple FACEMs rostered on every shift and strong senior ED coverage. This is a department where clinical standards are high, support is visible, and teamwork is embedded.

The Position

You’ll join a tertiary ED with:

  • Multiple FACEMs rostered every shift

  • Strong senior presence and collaborative culture

  • 10-hour clinical shifts

  • Approx. 1 on-call per ~4 shifts (cumulative)

  • Minimum 4-shift commitment

  • Final shift mix confirmed post-booking

This is a structured, high-functioning department offering excellent peer support and clinical flow.

  • 21–25 March 2026

  • 2–5 April 2026

  • 9–12 April 2026 (2 positions required)
