The Position
Role: FACEM
Location: Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service
Daily Rate: $3,500 per day + $300 per hour when on call
Mount Gambier’s Emergency Department is modern, recently refurbished, and sees more than 22,000 presentations per year. You’ll work alongside a supportive team, providing leadership, supervision to RMOs and interns, and managing your own clinical caseload. The ED is equipped with two resus bays, a dedicated fast-track area, paediatric zone, and an infectious isolation room. Approximately 25% of presentations are paediatric, so strong paediatric emergency skills are highly valued.
Shifts include 10:00–20:00 and 14:00–24:00 with on-call. When called in overnight (00:00–08:00), attendance is remunerated at $300 per hour.

Preference is for doctors to book blocks of shifts.
