Manning Base Hospital, in the heart of Taree’s Manning Valley, has recently completed Stage 1 of a major redevelopment, delivering a fresh, modern ED environment with advanced imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray), expanded clinical spaces, and improved patient flow. Stage 2 is now underway, promising even more contemporary inpatient facilities, enhanced campus connectivity, and telehealth-ready infrastructure.

You’ll be part of a capable and collegial team, supported by In-Charge Doctors, SRMOs, RMOs, and interns, caring for over 30,000 ED presentations each year. The department includes 10 acute beds, 2 resus bays, a procedure room, consult spaces, and isolation facilities - designed to help you work efficiently while delivering high-quality care.

The Role

  • Position: FACEM – Locum

  • Location: Manning Base Hospital, Taree, NSW

  • Rate: $3,000/day

  • Shifts: Day (0800–1830), Evening (1300–2300), Night (2230–0830)

  • Dates Available: 18 August – 7 September 2025 (choose single or multiple shifts to fit your calendar)

Who We’re Looking For

  • FACEM-qualified

  • Current AHPRA Specialist Registration

  • Recent senior-level ED experience

  • A collaborative, adaptable approach to working in a regional setting
