Permanent GP Opportunities | Private & Mixed Billing | Adelaide Metro

High Patient Demand

Modern Clinics

Strong Earnings | Long-Term Progression

Prescript Recruitment is working with a growing, privately managed medical group to appoint General Practitioners into permanent roles across several high-demand metro clinics in Adelaide.

These roles suit GPs who want to practise good, thorough medicine in environments that are organised, properly supported, and built for the long term. Patient demand is already established, systems are settled, and the clinics are structured to allow GPs to work at a sustainable pace - without the pressure or churn often associated with large corporate models.

At Prescript, our role is to help you step into the right clinic. We take the time to understand how you like to practise, what level of pace and complexity you enjoy, and what you want from the next few years of your career - then guide you through the process with clarity and care.

Why GPs Choose These Roles

  • Private and mixed billing (not bulk-billing focused)

  • Reliable patient demand from day one

  • Clinics that are well organised and properly resourced

  • Appointment structures that support quality consultations

  • Strong earning potential

  • Options for long-term progression, including partnership pathways

The Clinic Set-Up

Each location is purpose-built and designed with day-to-day GP work in mind:

  • Around 10 GP consult rooms per site

  • Dedicated nurse rooms

  • 2–3 bed treatment room

  • Onsite pathology

  • Facilities to support procedures such as:

    • Iron infusions

    • Immunisations

    • Skin procedures

    • Wound management

    • Chronic disease care

The emphasis is on clinics that function smoothly and allow you to focus on patient care, not logistics.

Systems & Day-to-Day Support

Practices operate with established, modern systems to keep things running efficiently, including leading GP software and digital workflows. Dedicated IT support is available across sites, meaning issues are dealt with quickly and don’t land on your shoulders.

Strong nursing and admin teams are in place to support chronic disease management, procedures and workflow - particularly for GPs who want to practise at the top of their scope.

Team Culture

These clinics are intentionally sized to remain collegiate rather than anonymous. You’ll be working alongside a stable group of doctors and staff, with regular opportunities to connect clinically and socially:

  • Ongoing clinical meetings

  • Informal team lunches

  • Practice-wide social catch-ups during the year

It’s a professional environment that values collaboration without being rigid or corporate.

Workload & Billings

Clinical pace
GPs are free to practise in the way that suits them. A 15-minute standard appointment structure is recommended to support thorough consultations. Most doctors see 4–5 patients per hour, depending on how they choose to structure their day.

Earning potential
Earnings reflect your style of practice, but GPs who make good use of nursing support and procedural work commonly achieve:

  • $350–$400 per hour in billings

  • With many doctors earning $250–$450 per hour overall
