The Position
Discover the unparalleled beauty of this remote haven while providing essential primary care and emergency services to the island's close-knit community and tourists. Join a team of four dedicated GPs, sharing on-call responsibilities evenly.
As a Rural Generalist, your role will involve working at the local district hospital and multi-purpose centre supported by experienced nursing, community, mental, and allied health teams. We prioritise those GPs capable of offering extended locum blocks, fostering continuity of care. Consider making this a repeat or extended locum!
Dates Available
Preference for a minimum of two weeks of coverage. GPs able to cover whole months or longer will be prioritised. Share your availability with us, and we'll assess the roster for suitability.

14/09/2024 – 29/09/2024
01/09/2024 – 28/09/2024 (2x positions)
01/12/2024 – 04/01/2025 (2x positions)
On-call responsibilities are shared, allowing you to explore your surrounds five evenings out of seven and three out of four of your weekends.

What We Require From You
✓ Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM
✓ Recent Emergency experience and relevant trauma course certification
