The Position
Role: Emergency Department Registrar (ED Registrar)
Location: Byron Central Hospital, Byron Bay, NSW
Emergency Department Overview:
Byron Central Hospital’s ED is designed for streamlined patient care with 6 ED beds, a resuscitation bed, safe room, fast-track bays, plaster room, and consult rooms, ensuring you have the resources for effective, high-quality care.
Shift Times:
Monday to Friday: 0800 - 1800 or 1300 - 2300
Weekend & Public Holidays: Similar shifts available, with additional night options from 2230 - 0830
Dates Available
Flexible shifts across November, December, and January 2025. Select from day, evening, and night shifts, including:
November: Key shifts from Nov 5, 6, 12, and others up to Nov 30
December: Shifts include nights from Dec 12 - 14
January 2025: Shifts from Jan 9 - 11

What We Require From You
Experience: ED Registrar (PGY4 or above) with at least 2 years of ED experience in Australia
Certification: Advanced Life Support Level 2 (ALS2)
Availability: To cover some of the shifts listed above
Registration: AHPRA General Registration
