The Positions

Palliative Care Specialists – Would you like to locum in Launceston for $2000 per day during the summer months?

★ Dates are available from 1 December 2021 to 28 February 2022.

★ This is a great opportunity to experience summer in beautiful Launceston.

★ We've had fantastic feedback from other consultants that this is a really lovely Palliative Care team - they all work well together and are very appreciative and welcoming to locum doctors.

★ Enjoy the fresh Tasmanian air and get outdoors to make the most of access to Cradle Mountain and beach communities of the east and the northeast coast.

★ This role will be covering only Launceston hospital - not inclusive of the northwest hospitals.

★ This 340-bed hospital provides services across outpatient clinics, critical care, ED, neonatal intensive care, paediatrics, maternity, theatre, short stay, and palliative services. The population coverage area is about 150,000.

Locum Palliative Care Consultant – August 2021 & Ongoing - NSW

The Position

We would love to talk to you if you are a Palliative Care Physician who is available to provide locum cover for a health service in NSW.

Three-month locum role, starting early August 2021

★ Four days per week

★ Possibility for extension

★ Permanent role available too

Are you a Palliative Care Specialist with some availability to help a regional health service this year? The role is primarily working in the community team but you may be required to cover and support the hospital team. You would also take part in the on-call roster.

You’ll be working on the Central Coast of NSW, easily accessible from Sydney and a great location to explore the beaches and countryside. The role itself will be across Gosford / Wyong / Long Jetty / Woy Woy hospitals.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold FAChPM (RACP) and Specialist Registration with AHPRA.

Palliative Care Physician

Prescript is looking for Palliative Care Physicians who are available to provide ongoing locum cover for a health service in Tasmania.

  • Ongoing opportunity; flexible dates to suit your availability
  • $2,000 per day inclusive of super
  • Picturesque city where accommodation, car and flights are provided

Are you a Palliative Care Specialist with some availability to help a regional hospital this year? Prescript is working with a hospital in Tasmania to find locum cover that can provide some consistency for both patients and staff in the department. The role involves working across the public hospital and five public beds in the private hospital.

You would be required to take part in the on-call roster and would be paid $15 per hour on call and $250 per hour called back. You can expect to conduct weekend ward rounds which will be paid as call backs.

You’ll be staying in one of Australia’s oldest cities with elegant architecture, a vibrant cultural scene and plenty of charming cafes and restaurants right on your doorstep. As you’ll have a car for the duration of your locum, you can easily head out into the stunning countryside to explore the best that Tasmania has to offer.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold FAChPM (RACP) and specialist registration with AHPRA.
