General Medicine Consultant Locum QLD

The Positions

Would you like to enjoy the Sunshine State in its most idyllic weather period of the year? This is a great opportunity for an experienced General Medicine Consultant to locum in Hervey Bay & Maryborough.

★ Dates are available from 17 October 2021 to 20 February 2022.

★ The roster would be between both Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals. Hervey Bay is a 209-bed facility, and Maryborough is a 95-bed facility.

★ This hospital has a service area of 214,000 people in the local community, covering Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, North Burnett, and parts of Gladstone.

★ Working hours are typically 0800-1700 Monday to Friday with participation in the on-call roster.

★ This health service provides an onsite Imaging Centre, ICU, ED, Outpatient Services, Pharmacy, and Pathology.

★ Registrars (PHOs) will be onsite for support.

★ Hervey Bay and Maryborough are just 20-minutes drive apart, making it easy to move between the two.

✓ Specialist Registration with APHRA

✓ FRACP

✓ You must either be an Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or a relevant work visa

✓ Candidates are required to show evidence of two COVID vaccinations

✓ Credentialing can take up to two weeks for this health service, so register your interest ASAP to lock in the dates you’d like
