The Position

O&G Consultants, are you able to locum in Karratha, WA? This is an incredible opportunity to spend the Christmas holidays and summer months exploring the Coral Coast in regional Northern WA.

★ Earn up to $3450 per day.

★ Dates available between 20 December 2021 to 28 February 2022.

★ Doctors that have worked here previously had positive feedback on the staff and community spirit in the facility. 

★ Monday to Friday - 0730 to 1630.

★ 40-bed hospital with six inpatient maternity beds. They typically see about 300 births per year. Consultants will need to manage the labour ward and do unsupervised caesareans.

★ This newly opened purpose-built hospital has been designed for the local WA climate.

Explore the secret getaway locations near Karratha you otherwise wouldn't have access to discover - it’s the perfect base to enjoy the natural beauty of its surrounds.

During your time off, drive further afield along the Coral Coast and take in all it has to offer. You might like to visit the incredible beaches on the Ningaloo Reef at Exmouth - a must-see for avid diving enthusiasts, or perhaps a visit to Karijini National Park, which is known for its beautiful gorges and extraordinary waterfalls.

  • $2200 - $2500 for consultants with less than six years of post-fellowship experience

  • $2500 - $3450 for consultants with six + years of post-fellowship experience

Who We’re Looking For

✓ Specialist Registration with APHRA

✓ FRANZCOG

✓ You must either be an Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or another relevant work visa

✓ Experience working with Aboriginal Health will be highly regarded

✓ Doctors working WA, NT, SA, TAS will be highly regarded, however, doctors from other states will be considered
