Located in one of Australia’s most attractive and thriving beachside communities, Noosa, you will have easy access to world-renowned beaches, a booming culinary scene, sub-tropical hinterland rainforest walks and Brisbane CBD less than 2 hours away. This really is a dream location!
The locum role will be for the largest privately-owned Radiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast. Services include: MRI, CT, Breast Imaging, US, Fluoroscopy, BMD, Dental Imaging, X-Ray, Nuclear Imaging, Interventional, Cardiac Imaging, Sport & MSK and Obstetrics Imaging.
More About The Fraser Coast Locum
The position will be hospital and clinic-based in sites across Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Because of this, you may find yourself rostered between 1-2 sites per day, however this is limited as much as possible.
A comprehensive range of services offered including general X-Ray, OPG (dental scans), CT, MRI, ultrasound, bone density scanning, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine and mammography.
Hervey Bay is a relaxed town with a population of around 60,000. Stay by the coast and enjoy the beautiful views over the water, along with the excellent outdoor activities and café and restaurant culture that’s right on your doorstep.
Maryborough, just a 20-minute drive from Hervey Bay, is a lovely historic, heritage town with a charming river port on the Mary River. Houses include beautiful examples of the solid, elevated colonial Queenslanders.

What We’re Looking For
✔️ You will need to have General Radiology skills – CT, basic interventional, US (incl. MSK) and X-ray. MRI and Mammography skills are not essential but would be highly regarded.
✔️ The locum will be tailored to your skills and experience. Request a full site/practice overview from Prescript
✔️ You will have your FRANZCR and AHPRA Specialist Registration.
✔️ You must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen.
