The Position

Psychiatrists - see yourself embracing the Perth lifestyle? We have a fantastic fixed-term, general adult psychiatrist position with the travel and accommodation benefits of a locum.

Perhaps you’re even considering moving to Perth permanently and would like to trial living there for a period to see if it suits you and your family? There is an opportunity to extend the fixed-term role, as well as there being a permanent position available too.

◾️ Fixed-term 4-6 months, with the option to extend.

◾️ Competitive salary and benefits.

◾️ Start date in September 2020 (flexible).

◾️ Monday - Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

◾️ Participating in the on-call roster will be required approximately one week in every five weeks.

◾️ Supported by a registrar.

◾️ The ideal candidate will have experience in general adult inpatient psychiatry, emergency department and consultant-liaison psychiatry.

◾️ There is a mixture of low prevalence and high prevalence cases; you will develop your experience across major presentations, substance abuse, comorbid substance use, anxiety and depression and other social issues.

Criteria

This is a role for a general and interventional radiologist – and tailored to your skill set and interests – See below for a summary of desired skills:

▪️ General, Doppler, obstetric, pelvic, musculoskeletal ultrasounds

▪️ Breast FNA under ultrasound guidance

▪️ FNA of superficial body parts – thyroid, lymph nodes, etc

What We’re Looking For

This role will suit a radiologist who would like a secure, ongoing, permanent position. You will need to be someone who enjoys working in a close team who really care for their community of patients and work well with referring specialists.

Criteria:

◾️ General Radiology skills – CT, MR, basic interventional, US and BMD.  Mammography and Obstetrics skills, or a desire to up-skill in any of these

The Position

Are you a psychiatrist? Prescript is looking for two psychiatrists to work in sunny Perth, WA, for a fixed-term 4-6 month period.

◾️ Two psychiatrist positions

◾️ General adult inpatient, ED and consultant-liaison

◾️ Fixed-term 4-6 months - must commence by August 2020

◾️ Responsible for psychiatric care in ED and on the ward

◾️ Competitive salary and benefits

◾️ Monday - Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

◾️ Participating in the on-call roster, you will be required approximately one week in every five weeks

◾️ Supported by a registrar

There is a mixture of low prevalence and high prevalence cases - you will develop your experience across major presentations, substance abuse, comorbid substance use, anxiety and depression and other social issues.
