The Position
O&G Consultants, are you available to locum in North West Tasmania? There are dates available as leave cover for the months of December 2021 and June 2022, with a strong possibility of extensions.
★ Spend the lead up to Christmas in a beautiful coastal location or visit in June for some snow and famed Tassie festivals.
★ This friendly and supportive team of doctors work very collaboratively together and have a great collegial atmosphere!
★ This regional hospital’s services include; ICU, ED, maternity, medical, theatre, paediatrics, and outpatient clinics. Population coverage area for this hospital is around 100,000.
★ Role will only be covering one hospital location.
★ We know from doctors that have worked here that the team is collaborative and close. They are accepting and warm with locums as well.
★ Consultants will need to manage the labour ward, work in the clinics, and conduct caesareans. Doctors will be required to do on-call and overtime as per the roster. This can be provided by the facility before your arrival.
★ O&G registrar support is available.
