Due to strong growth, Prescript is now seeking a radiologist to join an established privately owned radiology practice in Bendigo, Victoria, for a permanent, fixed-term, or part-time role – depending on your requirements.

What We’re Looking For
Skills Overview and Essential Criteria
✔️ General radiology skills in XR, US, CT, MRI and interventional procedures, with MSK ultrasound and basic MSK injections desirable, nuclear medicine also if this is within your scope
✔️ Note: If you have a special interest in breast work, this can be provided and supported
✔️ Note: There is the opportunity for an interventional radiologist who wishes to work with Tier B procedures, to join and develop their practice in the already well-equipped rooms
✔️ Strong focus on genuine and engaged patient care and community input
✔️ Emphasis on establishing and maintaining friendly, collegiate working relationships with fellow radiologists, referring specialists and other employees
✔️ FRANZCR and AHPRA specialist registration required (We can assist you with AHPRA if you do not hold this at present)
✔️ Must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen

◾️ New Zealand based radiologists with FRANZCR are encouraged to enquire/apply
◾️ DWS - If you’re interested in transferring from another DWS role, please enquire too as there is scope for this if the right criteria is met

It’s large enough to have all the infrastructure and resources of a large city, but with much more reasonable costs of housing/living, easy commuting and no traffic issues.
◾️ There is a down to earth and inclusive feel about the city. The awards and the recognition it has been given speak volumes of its attention to the environment, sustainability, high-quality living and the best of food, art, sport and music.
◾️ The emphasis on high quality, locally grown and made products and fresh produce is evident in Bendigo in the delis, cafes, shops and wineries. It is a highly awarded city for its food and wine, and there is a real pride in the service and hospitality provided.
◾️ Education is highly valued in Bendigo. There is a good selection of public and private childcare, primary and secondary schools, as well as universities and other tertiary education options. (It is worth noting that many radiologists and other staff at this practice have children of varying ages – they are a great source of information and very willing to help with discussions around education choices).
Transport Networks and Accessibility
Bendigo is a compact, well designed and established city with wide streets lined with beautiful trees, shopping areas and cafes dotted throughout and an emphasis on walking between all the key landmarks including hospitals, schools, universities, art galleries and theatres, as well as the practical supermarkets, banks, and other services.
To access Bendigo from other cities, you have the following options:
◾️ Melbourne city is less than 2 hours’ drive, and Melbourne Airport is only is only a 1 ½ hour drive.
◾️ Direct flights operate from Sydney Domestic Terminal with Qantas and take just 2 hours – Bendigo centre is then only a few minutes easy drive. (Less than 10).
◾️ Trains operate from Bendigo central directly to Melbourne CBD – Many locals take the train into Melbourne for a show or night out. An easy and relaxing way to go! (Many Melbourne visitors also love to take this option for a weekend in Bendigo to enjoy the great wine, food, theatre, sport and art too!).
◾️ Uber, plenty of taxis and local buses also service the city and region.
