This is an excellent location to bring the family, particularly over the warm summer months. With an attractive rate of $2000-2400 per day, week-long locums are booking up already, so get in here quick to secure your block between now and February 2023.
The Position
You’ll be working at the hospital-owned GP clinic during standard hours Monday-Friday, whilst covering the urgent care centre, acute ward, and residential aged care facility on a manageable on-call roster. Giving you plenty of time to enjoy the myriad of activities on the Murray with its excellent boating and fishing opportunities, or the region’s forest trails that can be explored by bike or on foot.
★ You will be working alongside four other GPs which allows 3 weekends out of 4 to visit the local wineries or stay at some of the picturesque riverside campsites
★ Attractive daily rate of $2000 per clinic day, $2400 if rostered on-call
★ Urgent Care Clinic on-call only – you are not working in a busy ED department
★ 1 in 4 weekday and weekend on-call – plenty of time to relax and enjoy this holiday destination
★ Family-friendly accommodation can be provided, a great location to entertain the family
★ Work as little as one week, or book extended/multiple locums to maximise your time on the river!

The Benefits

★ Payment choice - either via invoice or Prescript payroll:
➞ Invoice if PTY Ltd or Trust business structure - you will have PI, PL & WC + Medical Indemnity
➞ Prescript payroll - daily rate inclusive of super, salary packaging available
★ Travel reimbursed and accommodation provided
★ Situated on the banks of the Murray river with all its outdoor attractions
★ Manageable workload and shared on-call, providing a less intensive VMO locum opportunity
★ Dates over spring and summer – the best time to visit the region

Who We’re Looking For
✓ Specialist AHPRA registration
✓ Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRRM
✓ You must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or other relevant work visa
✓ Recent emergency medicine/urgent care experience
