Kangaroo Island, often referred to as "Australia's Galapagos," is a natural wonderland nestled off the southern coast of South Australia. This pristine island sanctuary is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Renowned for its unspoiled landscapes, Kangaroo Island boasts diverse ecosystems, from rugged cliffs and white-sand beaches to dense forests and vast bushland.
As the name suggests, kangaroos are just one of the many native species you'll encounter here, alongside sea lions, koalas, echidnas, and a plethora of birdlife. The island's protected status ensures the preservation of its unique flora and fauna, making it a biodiversity hotspot. Visitors can explore its beauty through a network of walking trails, witness dramatic rock formations, indulge in local produce, and immerse themselves in the tranquillity of this ecological jewel. Kangaroo Island is a testament to the breathtaking natural treasures that Australia has to offer.
This is an excellent health service to work in whilst exploring one of Australia’s bucket list holiday destinations – please enquire ASAP with your availability to assist.
