GP VMO Locum - High Rates & No Overnight On-Call - NSW

The Position

Prescript would love to hear from GP VMOs interested in locuming in NSW. A health service in Leeton, located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, has dates available for an excellent daily rate - between $2500 and $3000 per day (dependent on experience).

Dates are available in April, May, June, July (scroll down to see exact dates). There are ongoing opportunities at various sites across the local health district, if the dates above don't suit, please get in touch with your availability and we can suggest alternative locations.

★ Rate $2500 - $3000pd negotiable (dependent on experience)

★ Work is split across ED and inpatients - no GP practice commitments

★ 9am - 6pm on-site

★ 6pm - 9am on call for triage 1 & 2 presentations

★ Responsive workforce team

★ No overnight on-call

★ Experienced and supportive nursing staff

★ Sole-GP placement

★ Support from local GPs if required

Leeton is a pretty NSW country town in the Riverina region and is known for its well-preserved art deco buildings. Experience lovely boutique wineries, local produce markets, and delicious food and wine.

How to get there? Leeton is a three-hour drive from Canberra, five hours from Melbourne, and six hours from Sydney. You can also fly into Narrandera-Leeton Airport which is a 20-minute drive from Leeton, or Griffith Airport is 60-minutes. 

 

With all of your travel and accommodation provided, and your credentialing and logistics all organised for you, all you need to do is let us know when you’re free and get ready to support this great NSW town.

Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM

Specialist AHPRA Registration

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or relevant work visa

Recent regional ED experience

Completed ALS within the last 3 years
