The Position
Have you thought about visiting one of Australia’s most spectacular tourist destinations whilst working in a popular and supportive hospital? This rare locum opportunity will see you testing your Rural Generalist skills in a well-regarded 35-bed facility, with the opportunity to live on Airlie beach and enjoy the Whitsundays on your rostered days off.
★ You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team providing on-site obstetric services, assisting in ED and general practice clinics
★ 2-month locum opportunity with potential to extend
★ Approximately 5 shifts per week around a roster
★ Support from local GP Obstetricians, Rural Generalists and junior medical officers
★ Located 20 minutes from Airlie Beach in the cooler Autumn months
★ Easily accessible with direct flights from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney

Dates Available
➞ ASAP – April (2 months with possibility of extension)
➞ Shorter blocks will be considered – get in touch with your availability
➞ Approximately 10 shifts per fortnight - shifts around a roster (Mon-Sun)
➞ On-call will be required

What We’re Looking For
✓ Specialist AHPRA Registration
✓ Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM
✓ Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or other relevant work visa
✓ Advanced DRANZCOG & at least 3 years post-graduate proceduralist experience
