Are you a GP Obstetrician and interested in a new position in a remarkable part of Australia? Prescript is recruiting for a full-time GP Obstetrician to join a Northern Territory, remote hospital on an initial 12-24-month contract.  

It is a fantastic opportunity to work in a culturally diverse environment and contribute to a rural community’s health-care with your sought-after skills and expertise. You will be working in a 30-bed hospital in the Maternity unit as well as the Emergency Department and General Ward.

During your time off you can explore East Arnhem Land with its pristine surrounds and enjoy the varied outdoor adventures available; fishing, bush-hiking and camping.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must hold RACGP or ACCRM Fellowships

  • Advanced skill in Obstetric (Advanced DRANCOG)

  • AHPRA Specialist Registration

  • Australian citizen or permanent resident (or NZ citizen)

  • Interest in working within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and patients

✅Base salary $171,755 - $217,355, with a total package range of $379,926 - $445,176
