Prescript has a rare locum opportunity for GPs to work on tropical Magnetic Island for a great daily rate and minimal on-site hours. Dates available from 25 Oct to 31 Dec.

There is so much to do and see during your time on fantastic Magnetic Island! Experience an abundance of wildlife, beautiful, secluded beaches, bushland hikes, and wonderful restaurants and cafes.

You are required on-site from 9-11 am then will be on-call only. ★Note - doctors are 3rd on-call: ambulance first, then the nurse, and lastly the Doctor. This means you’ll have more time off to wind down and explore everything Magnetic Island has to offer!

The Position

★ 2 bedroom unit, within walking distance from the hospital

★ Quiet locum

★ Solo doctor

★ Required onsite from 9-11 am then on-call only

★ 2-3 nurses on each day working 0800 – 1630

★ Dr is 3rd on-call - ambulance first, then the nurse, and lastly the Dr

★ Day rate of $1800 - $2050 per day (hospital only)

OR

★ Hospital and GP, day rate approx. $1200 per day plus percentage of billings (can earn over $1000 per day in the clinic)

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or relevant work visa
