AMS GP Locum - Broken Hill, NSW - Primary Health Care

The Position

Are you a General Practitioner eager to make a difference in quintessentially remote Australia? Prescript has partnered with Maari Ma Health in NSW to find them locum GPs between the 2nd May and the 1st July 2022 - with a minimum of 2-week locum blocks.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a short-term locum doctor to work for an award-winning ACCHO with an excellent reputation. 

★ This is a GP clinic-only role – we are looking for someone who has experience either working within Aboriginal health or a regional/remote setting

★ You will be working in the Primary Health Care Service delivering generalist services in Broken Hill, with potential outreach to surrounding communities

★ Support from a team of 7 GPs and an extensive multi-disciplinary team

★ Monday to Friday with no on-call or after-hours

★ Daily rate of $1400 plus GST

You will join a welcoming, modern well-resourced general practice which is a highly functioning and well-supported team. Their GPs enjoy the diversity on offer and options to practice across all our clinical programs including acute care, chronic disease prevention and management, mental health and AOD, and child/maternal health and youth health.

Who We’re Looking For

Specialist AHPRA Registration

FRACGP or FACRRM

You must either be an Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or another relevant work visa

Experience working within an Aboriginal health and/or regional/remote setting

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and completed the COVID training modules
